JUNIOR STAR SINGER SONGWRITER RADIO TOUR 2017 WELCOMES NEW CELEBRITY JUDGE RICHARD HADFIELD
Junior Star Singer Songwriter takes to the road again this year, bringing contestants from all over the UK aged between 10 -16 years to compete against each other and be judged and mentored by experienced mentors from the music industry.  This year contestants come from as far as Bradford in the North and as far down as the coast of Southampton.  There are even budding singers and songwriters competing from all over the uk.  The competition now appears on an outstanding 20 radio stations giving a young artist the winning prize of the chance to have their track heard by several stations after being recorded with a top record producer in London.
Junior Star Singer Songwriter was founded by presenter and music entrepreneur Amanda Neale who originally started singing and songwriting in girl band 4Nations then worked as a booker for live venue Roadhouse in Covent Garden.  The show began 8 years ago, taking young potential artists from Surrey her home county and giving  them an opportunity to be recognised for their talents.  Now Junior Star Singer is a UK tour in association with charity Youth Music that supports disadvantaged young people to support them with music projects.  Junior Star Singer gives listeners the chance to text donate to the charity.  Amanda Neale regularly gives motivational speeches and music industry talks to schools across the country where donations are now given to the charity Youth Music.
With the tour about to kick start in April this year, Junior Star Singer Songwriter announces it’s new celebrity judge this year Richard Hadfield who was a previous winner of Britain’s Got Talent in 2014 from the band Collabro.  With an amazing new Jazz sound from his collection Swingfield, Richard is launching his solo career and will be giving expert advice and tips to young artists across the tour.  Listen out for his radio interviews on the tour, as well as his comments on who he thinks has a chance to go through to the final.
